FastStone Capture is a fairly powerful, but at the same time a simple means for capturing snapshots from the desktop Windows. What's new in version:
Added "screen crosshairs." It displays two full-screen intersecting lines (cross) with magnifying window containing information about the area around the mouse pointer. May be useful for aligning objects on the screen comparison chart or tabular data and to highlight the text you are reading.

Added "Creating band image." You can use it to connect multiple images into one

Added settings (Editor tab) is set to "Show the sizing handles on the borders of the image." Dragging the handles, you can remove the unwanted edges or add to the image of the empty space.

Added settings (Capture tab) is set to "Automatically copy the snapshot to the clipboard." Check this option if you want to automatically send a copy of the captured image to the clipboard (every time you take a picture of the screen)
